When Senior Home of Michigan was founded in 2018, we saw a need for improvement in the long-term care industry. Working firsthand with hospitals, assisted living facilities, and others involved in the eldercare field, we saw the struggle for seniors to find the living resources they needed. We would hear and see how patients and their families struggled to find the right living arrangements that were based on their unique needs and situations. We know that creating a website where individuals could search by location, price range, accessibility, level of care, and insurance acceptance would empower seniors and their families to narrow their search for a home with confidence and know that they are in control of their futures.
